7 Years of Homestuck in 11 Minutes,Entertainment,homestuck,Andrew Hussie,webcomic,years,compilation,anime,Atomic Bonsai,Cobalt Thief,Sburban Jungle,Homestuck,MSPA,Edit: Yeah, I missed a lot of the flash files. There were over 200 and I only included 26. This was due both to my personal time restraints (it was such a tedious process to convert the .swf to .mp4) and due to the time constraints of the video. I didn't want them overpowering the standard pages. This is an updated version of a previous video I made, this time including some (26 total) [S] pages with the images more condensed. There are probably errors in this, feel free to point them out to me in the comments. I hope you guys enjoyed Homestuck as much as I did :) Idea taken from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0d4KWphPAQw Previous Version (not as good): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3I0PjcQ6Ts Source of images and the home of Homestuck itself: http://mspaintadventures.com/ Music (in order): Homestuck Vol. 1-4 - Sburban Jungle (by Michael Guy Bowman) Strife! - Atomic Bonsai (by Joren "Tensei" de Bruin) coloUrs and mayhem: Universe A - Cobalt Thief (by Ray McDougall) Programs and Methods Used: Eclipse IDE: To extract all the .gifs and .swfs from the Homestuck site Gifsicle: To set the delay between frames of all the .gifs to 0 Swivel: To convert the .swfs to .mp4 ffmpeg: To speed up the .mp4s to 24x normal speed and to remove the audio Sony Vegas: To compile all the .gifs and converted .mp4s together in order, to add the music, and to render it all for the final project What I did differently from last time: Tweaked my program to be able to grab more images from Homestuck. The first time around I was missing a lot of pages due to a mistake I made. Still images are now only 1 frame instead of 3 frames. Included some .swf files converted to .mp4 and sped up 24x
