Just before morning, or right before the night, there was a very atmospheric painting of the sun peeking over the horizon. It would reflect off the water, which I thought at the time to be still. It was endless. It covered all my camera could view out past the horizon. It was nice when Dirk would wake up early enough to sit on the roof.

If you want to be authentic, we should be on the roof. It was one hundred stories tall, maybe only ten of them above water. The only remaining structure was Dirk's apartment, the rest of the building was just an iron frame. The roof was flat, with a wall surrounding the perimeter to keep those venturing up here safe from falling off the ledge. We would be sitting on that wall.
There isn't much else to watch here... There are usually seagulls flying overhead, sometimes a random buoy floating in the water with a bell on it. Empty streets that have been taken over by sea life.
The plants are flourishing with its nutrients. Jade brought us a star that would replicate the from her Earth.
